Now we've got to "resize" the photo to make it fit onto our
button, select "Image", then "Resize", into the "Height" box
type "62" (it doesn't matter about the width this will
be worked out automatically).
What you should now have are two images, like these
Click on the top bar of the photo image to select it, then
select "Edit" then "Copy". Then click on the top bar of
the blank button to select it, and select "Image" then
"Paste" then finally "As New Selection".
You should now have the photo "stuck" on the end of the
mouse and you should be able to move it around on the
button until you get it into the correct position.
When you do click the left button to paste it into
position. Finally right click to remove the dotted
box around the pasted photo. What you should now
have is this
The final snag is that I've got a massive white
patch at the left end of my image which I don't
want, I'd like the brown colour to continue right
up to the left hand edge of my button.
Select the "eye dropper" tool and left click on the very
left hand edge of the brown section of the photo.
On the right of the screen are two "coloured squares" when
you click on the darkest area of brown in the photo the
front top one should change to dark brown.
Now click on the "fill tool" (which looks like a bucket
of paint tipping over), and click somewhere in the
white area of the photograph.
